A Sculpture At Macul
There is an architectural hourglass at Macul -
a skeleton frame bent like a spoon
by the weight of three handprints in clay -
Thin imprints tattered around the edges -
A finger could push through the clay
stretched like skin across an oval frame -
They are the handprints of an adult,
but look like the hands of a child
Imprinted on a fleeting sculpture
