We do not fit together like puzzle pieces.
There is no “click” and lock.
We fit together like skin against skin,
Warmth radiating,
Communicating in a rare way, our
Speech filled with new words, our
Vision filled with new tones, our
Hearing made sensitive to the sounds of silence.
